Presentation: "Business Workshop: iPhone Apps: From Concept to Launch"

Time: Wednesday 13:30 - 18:00

Location: Auditorium

Abstract:

Do you have a great idea for an iPhone app with no idea how to make it a reality? In this half-day workshop, iPhone expert Raven Zachary will walk you through the process of bringing your iPhone application to market—from the initial concept all the way through launch. This workshop does not cover iPhone programming. It will appeal to anyone with a good app idea, whether you're an entrepreneur, web designer, developer, or just a passionate iPhone user.

iPhone developers will benefit from this workshop as Raven shares best practices learned in the process of launching over a dozen iPhone apps ranging from some of the world's biggest brands to the smallest startups. Topics will include the writing of an application definition statement, understanding your target audience, creating a product specification, hiring a team, navigating the app submission process, and marketing.
